Schmallenberg Virus
The Schmallenberg Virus (SBV) Antibody ELISA Test is used to detect antibodies against the Schmallenberg virus in livestock such as cattle, sheep, and goats. SBV is an orthobunyavirus transmitted primarily by biting midges (Culicoides spp.) and can cause significant economic and welfare impacts in affected herds or flocks.
