Equine Infectious Anaemia (EIA)
Equine Infectious Anaemia (EIA), sometimes called ‘swamp fever’ is an infectious disease that causes acute, chronic or symptomless illness, characterised by fever, anaemia, swelling and weight loss in horses, ponies, mules and donkeys.
We test for EIA using the Elisa and Coggins methods.
